North East USA Tour

James in Invermere BCRaise The Woof is Coming to North East USA,  a fundraiser standup comedy tour that works with animal rescues. Is your shelter, rescue, humane society or animal helping group in need of an exciting new fundraiser? We are coming this June 1-4 2016 (other dates may be possible, please enquire).

Our comedy tour has worked with over 40 rescues creating annual events and putting the fun in fundraising. Comedy has a large appeal, not only do our events raise money, they spread awareness and attract new supporters!

Please share our page with your local animal helping group, we’d love to have the show come to you!

FAQ:

1. Does Raise The Woof only work with Dog Rescues? No we work with all animal rescues, our passion is to use laughter to help all creatures.

2. We already have a big fundraiser scheduled around that time, will you be back in a different season? Typically when we come to an area there are a few rescues who are unable to do it in our original tour dates time frame, so we frequently create another tour in a different season. So please get in touch and lets have a fun fundraiser.

The Day of Show.

1. Don’t forget to do some decorating! And always remember: Many hands make light work.

2. Manage the box office aka The Door. This is where you would be collecting pre-sold tickets and selling admission to walk-up supporters.

3. Increase the proceeds of the fundraising event with concessions, silent auctions, raffles and/or a bar.

4. Have an awesome show that people will remember while creating an annual sustainable event will bring continual funding!

5. At the end of your event, announce some future fundraising or other details and bring awareness to your projects. Keeping people informed and aware is crucial. Having a platform like a comedy event to relay that information is a great opportunity.
